I started home brewing and the love of craft beer in 1993. After college and moving away from brewing and craft beer, I soon realized how much I missed it and the lack of craft beer available to purchase. After I moved to Colorado, I continued brewing and started to experience the emergence of the craft industry. So I went to Siebel Institute of Brewing Technology in 2013 and quit my day job to become a full-time brewer.

I worked at Breckenridge Brewery in Breckenridge, Colorado as an assistant. The fall of 2015, I moved to Peru and was head brewer at Sierra Andina Brewery and then Cerveceria del Valle Sagrado. In January 2018, I moved to Antigua, Guatemala to build a start-up and serve as head brewer at Cerveceria la Catorce Brewery. I have won brewing awards at all locations. I am now pleased to be the head brewer of Angry Goats Brewery located in Playa del Coco, Costa Rica.
